Call for Papers
Pakistan appeared on the map of the world on the night between 14th & 15th August 1947 . The country will be completing its 70th year in August this year. It is an appropriate time to take stock of the achievements achieved by the state in various sectors as well as the issues and challenges faced by it during the last seven decades as to provide intellectual foundation for future strategies.
Sindh Madressatul Islam is one of the oldest modern education imparting institutions of the country having very close connection with the state of Pakistan as the country's founder, Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, as well as most of its top leadership were its alumni.
In view of this, Sindh Madressatul Islam University has called an International Conference tentatively from 7th to 9th August 2017 at Karachi on the theme of "Pakistan at 70". The event will focus on sectors like democracy and democratic institutions, development, governance, education, economy, media, health, cultural heritage, women empowerment, human rights, science and technology, literature, environment, sports and entertainment. Scholars from all over the world are to participate in the conference.
The interested persons may forward the abstracts of their papers (maximum 200 words as attachment in MS Word) along with their short introduction (Maximum 100 words) and picture latest by 31st January 2017 through email at: firstname.lastname@example.org
